06.11.06 - Alumni Mehran Madani (MLA ’04) wins award

Congratulations to Mehran Madani (MLA ’04), who has received an award for research in his Master of Landscape Architecture thesis from the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). Madani’s MLA thesis was advised by Prof. John Danahy. Danahy will be in attendance this Fall at the ASLA Awards Ceremony in Minneapolis to receive an individual award for his role as faculty advisor and an award on behalf of the MLA Program. Madani’s thesis was reviewed as part of a longstanding awards program inviting submissions from each school of landscape architecture in North America. It was selected by a professionaljury as one of a handful of projects from all schools across the US and Canada deserving recognition.
