11.12.06 - Prof. Shane Williamson selected for Young Architects Forum by the Architectural League of New York

WILLIAMSON.WILLIAMSON, the studio of Professor Shane Williamson and partner Betsy Williamson, was a winner in the Architectural League of New York’s twenty-fifth annual Young Architects portfolio competition.

Their designs, along with the other winners, will be displayed on the Architectural League’s website www.archleague.org and in a catalogue to be published by Princeton Architectural Press. An exhibition of work by the winners will open to the public April 27 at the Urban Center, 457 Madison Avenue, New York City, and will remain on display through June 14. williamson.williamson will present their work at the Young Architects Forum on April 27.

The WILLIAMSON.WILLIAMSON studio was recognized for their furniture and installations, buildings and urban proposals, including recent projects “Dog / Trot,” a house on an island in Orillia; and STOCK SPACE, an exhibition of four concept spaces in the Toronto Interior Design Show in 2005.
