21.07.14 - New essay by Robert Levit examines sustainability’s role in forming design practices

Associate Professor Robert Levit has published a critical essay on sustainability’s role in forming design practices in the newly released book The Return of Nature: Sustaining Architecture in the Face of Sustainability, edited by Preston Scott Cohen and Erika Naginski. In his essay, he examines the psychological and symbolic role played by the representation of sustainability strategies in the language of contemporary design.

Robert Levit is Associate Professor of Architecture and Director of the Master of Architecture Program. He is also a partner in the design firm Khoury Levit Fong.
