24.09.14 - Francesco Martire's firm large [medium] design office wins two 2014 ARIDO awards

large [medium] design office – the firm of Daniels Faculty Lecturer Francesco Martire and his partner Nadia Cannataro — has been awarded two 2014 ARIDO (Association of Registered Interior Designers) awards: an Award of Merit for its retail project Mendocino, and an Award of Excellence (one of only two awarded this year) for its residential project entitled Home Theatre (pictured above). 

One of the most highly regarded honours in the industry, the ARIDO Awards recognize excellence, innovation and creativity in interior design.

Francesco holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and a Master of Architecture, both from the University of Toronto. A registered architect with the Ontario Association of Architects and a registered landscape architect with the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects, Francesco teaches design studios in the Master of Landscape Architecture program and a course in Site Engineering and Ecology in the Master of Architecture program. His professional experience includes both landscape and architectural projects at various scales across Canada and internationally.
