07.04.15 - Daniels alumni and faculty to participate in the Leading With Landscape conference hosted by The Cultural Landscape Foundation
Daniels Faculty alumni Claude Cormier (BLA 1986) and Bruce Kuwabara (BArch 1972) will be participating in the Leading with Landscape conference at the Isabel Bader Theatre on Friday, May 22, 2015.
Hosted by the Cultural Landscape Foundation, Leading with Landscape is the “third conference in an ongoing series about the Second Wave of Modernism.”
From the conference website:
Toronto – recently ranked by the Economist magazine as “the best place to live” and North America’s fourth largest city – is the center of world-class landscape architecture projects, the world’s largest ravine system and a substantial legacy of extant parks. These will all be the focus of a daylong conference, and other events including What’s Out There Weekend Toronto, featuring two days of free, expert-led tours, and the launch of a free, online What’s Out There Toronto City Guide.
Associate Professor Jane Wolff will be leading a campus tour as part of What’s Out There Weekend Toronto. The event will also serve as a book launch for the accompanying What’s Out There Toronto City Guide, which features Daniels Faculty’s MLA student work.
