The Daniels Faculty’s unique programs in Visual studies provide students with the opportunity to work across a variety of media under the guidance of practicing artists and curators with strong ties to Toronto’s vibrant arts scene.
The University of Toronto’s Visual Studies programs transferred from the Faculty of Arts and Science to the Daniels Faculty on July 1, 2013. The transfer was a natural fit for the Daniels Faculty, where creative studio work, community outreach and collaboration, critical theory, and research play a large role in both learning and practice.
The Daniels Faculty offers Visual Studies programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels:
- Honours, Bachelor of Arts in Visual Studies
- Master of Visual Studies
