End of Term Reminders: April 2022
Dear Daniels Undergraduate students,
As the end of the school year approaches, we have a few end-of-term reminders:
Important Dates
Credit/ No-Credit (CR/NCR)
- The deadline to select Credit/No Credit (CR/NCR) for S and Y courses in the 2022 Winter term is April 8, 2022.
- Courses for which you CR/NCR will NOT count towards your required program requirements
- These courses will be used towards your overall 20 credit degree requirement
- Log in to your ACORN account and follow the instructions to add a CR/NCR course.
Late Withdrawal (LWD)
- The Winter 2022 deadline to Late Withdraw (LWD) from an S or Y course is April 8, 2022.
- If you have not yet met with an advisor, you must email registrar@daniels.utoronto.ca with your request for an appointment. Subject heading must read "LWD".
Absence Declaration
If you are ill, remember to complete the UofT Absence Declaration on ACORN for each day that you are unwell.
During this time, the Absence Declaration tool replaces the need for a medical note/Verification of Illness or Injury form.
Petitions
- Until April 30th requests for accommodations on term work are handled via the course instructors. Term work must be submitted no later than April 30th, end of term.
- An official extension must be requested via petition for any term work still outstanding by April 30th OR for any missed reviews/exam by May 9th
- Petitions and supporting documentation must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar and Student Services via email to registrar@daniels.utoronto.ca.
- Information about petitions can be found on the Daniels website
- The Petition Form can be completed and submitted electronically
Drop in Appointments
ORSS will continue to offer drop-in appointments on Wednesday's at 3pm through the month of May and the remainder of the summer. These are one-on-one appointments done via Zoom breakout rooms.

Additional Health & Wellness supports
- To contact Health and Wellness Services Reception call 416-978-8030 x5 or email at info.hwc@utoronto.ca.
- Free 24/7 support is available outside the university. Students, staff and faculty can speak to a trained crisis worker at any hour of the day
- Mental Health HUB – student mental health resource
- NAVI – Your Mental Health Wayfinder
- Good 2 Talk Student Helpline 1-866-925-5454. Professional counselling, information and referrals for mental health, addictions and well-being.
- My SSP for U of T Students 1-844-451-9700. Immediate counselling support is available in 35 languages and ongoing support in 146 languages
