Editors Maya Przybylski and Lola Shepard are pleased to announce the release of Bracket [at Extremes], the third issue in the Bracket series.

The condition of extremes suggests a tipping point; a moment in which a system shifts from one state to another, often unpredictable state.The conditions of extremes demands new tropes: new models of practice, new typologies of buildings, infrastructure and landscapes, and new pairings of program or infrastructure. What is the role of architecture and design in such contexts? to redress? to mitigate? to capitalize on new opportunities?

The book brings together essays and projects and includes work of several University of Toronto graduates. Please join us in a pecha kucha style presentations by contributors of their work and a larger reflection on architecture's role in a shifting set of contexts.
