Listening, Looking, and Remembering: Active vs. Passive Note Taking & Reading Strategies

-

Room 200, 1 Spadina Crescent

Looking at text and representations as well as listening to others are two key tasks that support our learning process. The approaches we use for taking notes and completing readings has a profound impact on our ability to recall that information in the future. Join Daniels Faculty Learning Strategist Benjamin Pottruff for an interactive workshop that explores several techniques for completing readings and taking notes while considering strategies to improve our remembering. This workshop is open to both undergraduate and graduate students, registration is not required.
