Julian Cox will share insights on his curatorial practice, with a special focus on photography and his extensive experience organizing exhibitions in a museum context. 

Julian Cox is an internationally renowned curator, writer and museum administrator. Since January 2018 he has served as the Deputy Director & Chief Curator at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Previously, Cox held curatorial positions at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, and the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles.
 
Born in London, England, Cox earned a  BA in art history from the University of Manchester, and a MPhil in the history of photography from the University College of Wales.
