The John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design is excited to extend an invitation to Master of Architecture and Master of Urban Design students to take part in a special professional development opportunity. The Student-Professionals Networking Event is a great opportunity to learn from alumni and professionals, who will be in attendance to share their experience and advice with students in the MArch and MUD programs. Meet new people, make important connections that could help you in the future, and get advice that can help inform your future career path! This is an event you don’t want to miss!

Program

6 p.m. - Students/professionals arrive
6:30 p.m. - Welcome and introductions
6:35 p.m. - Speed networking sessions
8 p.m. - Informal reception to follow. Light refreshments and snacks provided free of charge courtesy of the Ontario Association of Architects

How it works

Students will move from table to table to meet and pose questions to participating professionals and to gain knowledge about prospective career paths. Mentors will introduce themselves and share advice on transitioning from school into professional practice.
