In advance of course enrolment, there will be an Information Session to discuss all application based architectural studies courses that will be available this summer. Come and learn about Summer Studio Abroad (ARC300Y), Design Build Studios (ARC395H/Y) and Design Research Internship (ARC495Y). Please note that students graduating this June are not eligible for enrolment in any of the courses listed below.

ARC300Y0 Summer Studio Abroad

An intense travel program led by an instructor to allow advanced students to spend time in a foreign locale, conducting fieldwork, experiencing local design programming, and connecting with professionals.
Course Prerequisite(s): 1.0 FCE at the 200-level in ARC courses and permission of instructor
Summer 2020 – 2 courses available: Berlin & Greece

ARC395H/Y1 Design Build

An opportunity for degree students in their third year in the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design to work on an intensive design-build project. An application must be submitted to the program director.
Course Prerequisite(s): ARC200H1 and ARC201H1
Summer 2020 – 5 courses available.

ARC495Y1 Design Research Internship

An opportunity for degree students who have completed their third year in the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design to bridge academic knowledge and professional practice through design research. An application must be submitted to the program director.
Course Pre-requisite: 1.0 FCE ARC300+ level courses
