15.10.07 - Aziza Chaouni appointed Assistant Professor of Architecture

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Aziza Chaouni as Assistant Professor of Architecture in the tenure stream, in the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design.
Professor Chaouni holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University and a Master of Architecture degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Prior to establishing a professional partnership with Jeanette Kuo she worked at the Renzo Piano workshop in Paris, and Diller Scofidio and Renfro in New York.
She has held the Julia Amory Appleton Travelling Fellowship awarded by the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and has received a Graham Foundation grant for her research on the work of the Moroccan modernist architect Jean Francois Zevaco. She has won a PA Award for her academic research on the Moroccan city of Fez.
