28.04.20 - Are you having strange dreams? Tell us about them with Oneiroi

A few months ago, in pre-COVID times, Daniels Faculty assistant professor Petros Babasikas and artist Chrissou Voulgari created Oneiroi, an interactive art installation that invites people to anonymously share descriptions of their dreams. Although Oneiroi's physical recording station, in New Circadia, inside the Daniels Building's Architecture and Design Gallery, is now closed because of the pandemic, the project's website is open to online dream submissions.

Early research shows an uptick in strange and vivid dreams as a result of the anxiety surrounding COVID-19 — a phenomenon that has been noted by the New York Times style section, among other media outlets. If that has been your experience, be sure to visit the Oneiroi website and (anonymously) talk or write about it. Submitted dreams are archived on the website and added to a dream "atlas" for users to browse.

Also, Oneiroi is nominated in this year's Webby Awards. Be sure to vote for it if you like the website.
