22.08.12 - Daniels grads imagine the Don Valley Parkway without cars
"The Parkway of Least Resistance," a project that re-imagines Toronto's Don Valley Parkway as a corridor for walkers, bikers, and campers — instead of cars — was profiled in Metro and on the Spacing Toronto blog. The proposal aims to reduce vehicular traffic on the DVP to TTC or GO buses and trains by 2040. It's part of the exhibition MOVE: The Transportation Expo, being held at the Evergreen Brickworks until October 28.
Three Daniels Faculty alumni were part of the team that designed "The Parkway of Least Resistance:" Master of Landscape Architecture grads Denise Pinto and Karen May, and Master of Architecture grad Rob Shostak.
