10.09.08 - MArch II Students Selected for Venice Biennale


A group of four MArch II students conducting an independent study on the public and private realm in suburbia have been selected for the Everyville exhibition in Venice for the 11th Venice Biennale running from September 14 to November 23, 2008.

The Everyville competition was an international student competition that drew over 780 entries from 48 countries. The University of Toronto team’s proposal titled “Human Lawnscapes” was one of 50 projects selected.

Jurors for the competition included Aaron Betsky, Zaha Hadid, Wolf Prix, and Thom Mayne among others.
