Sifei Mo

Sifei Mo received her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Design from the University of Toronto and her Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan. She has worked for URBANUS Architecture and Design, where she sought to create interdisciplinary solutions through collaboration between disciplines. Her experience as a researcher and designer, including her work with the 2017 Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture (2017UABB), has provided her with a foundation that spans multiple aspects of the field of architecture. Her research interests include social housing and informal urbanism, especially urban villages in Shenzhen, and her research and design practices cover many fields, including urban policy in Shenzhen, the revitalization of public space, and the adaptive reuse of industrial heritage, as well as urban curation and intervention in urban villages.
