Tanya has held several student support and advising roles on the St. George Campus over the past 20 years, having worked at Accessibility Services, Woodsworth College, Arts & Science and most recently the Rotman School of Management.

She has served as a Committee Member for the Rotman Dean's Advisory Committee on Student Mental Health, the Committee on Standing at Arts & Science and as a member of the Tri-Campus Special Consideration Admissions Working Group. 

Tanya holds a MA in Political Economy, and a post-graduate certificate in Counselling Skills. A life-long learner, Tanya has also studied Learning Design and Universal Design for Learning.
