Architecture Studio 4 – ARC362
ARC362 builds on three essential design skills throughout the course of the semester. The first is related to visualization, including analogue and digital drawing, orthographic projections, and the iterative production of physical models. The second is the interrogation of conditions specific to the discipline of architecture (i.e. space, form, program, scale, circulation, and aggregation). The third is the capacity to critically question, through design, contemporary problems in architecture and urbanism. Students are challenged to design housing within the context of an urban site with the aim of increasing density and complexity.
