Wiggle Room

Wiggle Room acknowledges that every object regardless of its banality has been authored and is therefore unique. Yet every object is just part of a succession of iterations carefully following a generic set of principles that have been deemed acceptable, at the expense of originality thus making them obvious and boring. Generic architecture is in itself a testament against change where the prime concern is to provide conventional and comfortable surroundings, a space devoid of external stimuli — a modern exercise in search of well-being. Wiggle Room foregoes facts, data and measurements, as it draws from the experience of the banal, making the obvious and the wild guess design tools. Wiggle Room is an exercise in balance between the plausible and the slightly off.
