“Light” The Intangible Implicate Spaces
This thesis was executed through a series of performative light experimentations, including forms that address different sources of light-projecting shadows. I developed a library of these shadows, each of which refer to a different cognitive capacity.
Further studies included combining a design system with these cognitions to create narratives that explore a spectrum of shadow forms. I investigated light as an intangible material of architecture that responds to its capacity to evoke framing, looping, and projection towards a New Reality of Architecture, inter-linking my research studio with my thesis.
