Your official Offer of Admission letter is available through your Join U of T portal. To confirm your acceptance, please follow the instructions listed in your offer letter. 

It is important that you read through your offer of admission letter in its entirety, taking note of any conditions of the offer and upcoming dates & deadlines.

New Student Handbook 2018-19

Orientation Week 2018

Across U of T there are a variety of other Orientation Activities that will be held! We encourage all students to visit the Orientation website for more information.

New International Students are encouraged to consider attending the Step Up orientation from August 27-31, 2018. Step Up is a residential, pre-orientation program for international students and students who completed their secondary-level education outside of Canada. Step Up is an optional program that is designed to offer a bridge into studies at U of T and your transition to life in Toronto. The Step Up Program a great way to make new friends and get ready for your first-year of University!  For More information visit the Step Up website here.

Apply for Transfer Credits

If you have transferred to the Daniels Faculty with previous post-secondary level studies, including at another U of T division or campus, you are required to apply for a transfer credit assessment. The recommended deadline is June 29, 2018. If you have completed secondary level studies that are eligible for transfer credits, an assessment will be done automatically in August, after receipt of your final official scores.

Daniels Orientation 2018

Start your university experience at UofT on the right foot! Come and join us for Daniels Orientation 2018 from September 3-5.

During Daniels Orientation, you will meet new friends and senior student Orientation Leaders, get acquainted with campus and create unforgettable memories. Orientation Week is open to all incoming undergraduate students in the Daniels Faculty and is specifically designed to get you comfortable and excited about your choice to join the Daniels community.

Early Bird Ticket pricing is now live for $100 online until July 13, so register early and start getting excited to kick off university with three fun-filled days!

Daniels Mentorship 2018

Are you a newly admitted student looking for a way to connect with senior students, find support within the Faculty, and have some fun? Daniels Mentorship Program 2018 is now accepting Mentees!

There is no cost to participate and students who successfully complete the program will be given Co-curricular Record (CCR) credit.

Mentorship Application Now OPEN

The purpose of the Daniels Mentorship Program is to:

  1. Engage with and provide guidance to newly admitted students as they navigate their transition to University and the Daniels Faculty.
  2. Introduce students to a leader in the Faculty and engage with mentees through a series of programs (social events, workshops and activities) and platforms (such as social media, email, face to face and over the phone) to ensure mentees are supported and have a point of contact within the Faculty.
  3. Introduce new students to the facilities, services, supports and organizations in the Daniels Faculty and the greater University of Toronto community.
  4. Encourage students to utilize the resources, programs and people available within the Daniels Faculty including the Office of the Registrar and Student Services, the Writing Centre, and AVSSU.
  5. Create a positive, open, and inclusive social environment where students are comfortable and can connect with their peers, mentor and supporting program staff.
